Recent Developments
012025-04: Renewed attacks on Zamzam and Abu Shouk camps in North Darfur forced an estimated 400,000 to 450,000 people to flee again.
022025-10: UN officials warned that Tawila was hosting about 600,000 displaced people and that 260,000 civilians remained trapped around El Fasher as aid access stayed blocked.
032025-11: UN News reported that since the siege of El Fasher began in May 2024, more than 470,000 people had been displaced multiple times from camps including Shagra, Zamzam, and Abu Shouk.

Première Urgence Internationale supports civilians in conflict-affected areas through free health, mental health, and protection consultations, free medication for vulnerable people, and winter support such as boilers, heaters, blankets, personal protective equipment, non-food items, and generators. It also rehabilitates water supply and sanitation systems in affected regions to maintain essential services.
